**History**

The inception of BovIQ traces back to a collaboration between a rancher from New Mexico and a mobile app developer from North Carolina. Inspired by the need for a streamlined solution for cattle management, Christian (the rancher) sought an alternative to labor-intensive excel sheets by embracing mobile technology. The subsequent partnership with Steven (the software engineer) led to the development of BovIQ as a user-friendly, cloud-based production system accessible to cattle producers across diverse geographical regions. By incorporating industry best practices and academic insights, BovIQ empowers livestock managers to optimize their operations efficiently while on the move.
